Pamela G. Browne is a music, entertainment and sports attorney who was born and raised in Nashville. After graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Law, she was associate legal counsel at First American Bank in Nashville (which is now Regions Bank). She left First American after becoming an Assistant Vice President to join the firm of one of Nashville's leading music attorneys who represented chart-topping country and Contemporary Christian artists. Ms. Browne decided to start her own entertainment company where she managed or was the legal advisor for multi-platinum artists (r&b, hip-hop, pop, CCM and country) and represented professional football players as one of Tennessee’s first female NFL agents. Ms. Browne also served for five years as Associate Dean, School of Business, and the head of the Mike Curb Music Business Program (now the Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business) at Belmont University in Nashville. Ms. Browne’s achievements include co-producing an album with Mike Curb (Curb Records), by the renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers, which won a Dove Award and received a Grammy nomination. Ms. Browne was General Counsel & VP of Human Resources Management at Bethune-Cookman University (an HBCU in Daytona, FL) where she launched the first student-run record label at an HBCU. She has been a guest lecturer and panelist at many academic and industry conferences and her professional activities include being an alumna of Leadership Music and a former board member of the International Black Film Festival (both based in Nashville). Ms. Browne has recently added "talent manager" to her list of services as she is representing aspiring filmmakers based in Memphis. She is currently a Visiting Professor of Music Business at the University of Memhis .
